The Pilgrim Pair salt and pepper shakers are one of Publix Super Markets most popular items. And last year Publix decided to bring them back after more than a decade. First, we teased fans about their arrival, then connected them all over the country by asking them to post pictures of their Pilgrim Pair. We created a landing experience that pulled in fans' locations plus their photos. We found that even though Publix's footprint stretches only along the east coast, our Pilgrim Pairs made it across the US to visit families for the holidays.
Throughout this campaign we also hosted a Twitter chat where fans asked the Pilgrims about cooking and prepping tips for the big day.
